This book is due to come out about mid-June for those interested. I think it is much lighter reading than my first book. The forward shows how we are all Americans in the true sense of the word from Alaska and the Yukon and the Eskimos to the Toltecs and Aztecs of Mexico, the Mayans of Central America and the Araucanians of Chile plus us later settler people. As well as poems written since the 1960's, it has many popular sayings learned in the Americas at mines and especially from a wise old Salvadoran grandmother who lived for a time at the El Mochito Mine in Honduras with her kids and later technical experts at the mine. I will end now but will continue soon on the publication process and my articles for the Mining Magazine. Buffy Sainte-Marie

This is to advise my readers that a new legacy has been formed and in memory of Frank Daly who died a very untimely death at 44 yrs old but in whose name The Francisco Daly Legacy Endowment Fund is being formed. Our son suffered from autism spectrum disorder and also mental illness so we dedicate this fund to help newcomers to Canada especially Central Americans to find supports for those of their families suffering from mental illness or for those who wish to pursue a career in helping those with mental illness with an emphasis on psycho-social counselling. So if you support our goals we invite you to donate money to our fund which we will start with $10,000 and increase to $25,000. Your support will be very much appreciated.
